Doesn’t this hit home? The discussion of beauty is a pretty extensive one. We want to be it, talk about it, love it, and conquer it. We truly are a world that reveres looks. Sometimes we are so obsessed that if we aren’t up to par with the rest, it will inevitably create even more insecurities within us. And therein lies the problem.
Pandas I often feel very strongly about the fact that I was born in the wrong era. Well, I’m torn to tell you the truth. From the one hand I really do love technology but from the other, I think I could give that up tomorrow if they invented a time machine so I could transport myself back to the 1950’s.
Okay Pandas, this week I have been lusting over Houndstooth. There’s just something about the pattern, not to mention the cosy thickness of it. It’s so chic for winter that I want to shout it from the rooftops. Now I know over-using this pattern can scream houndstooth road kill. But splashes of it here and there, will always be a YES moment.
In this weekend’s photo journal I have decided to stick to another royal, rich, decadent colour of deliciousness. And that my panda buddies, is the beautiful Emerald Green. Isn’t it just a divine, sumptuous, opulent, and exquisite colour? It should have been the colour of the Gods. If Zeus was still around I’m pretty sure he would have draped all of mount Olympus and the Parthenon with trinkets, trimmings and adornments of this sexy commanding colour.
This might be a downer of a post today so I can only apologise for it coinciding with Friday celebrations. But unfortunately sometimes these things can’t be helped, however, it still needs to be told.
This weekend I’m celebrating everything that has to do with geometric patterns. From nails, make-up, Gifs, hair, fashion, interior design, tattoos and everything else in between. I am simply in love with it. There’s something so futuristic yet simplistic about it all. So without yapping on and on about it, why don’t I just show you.
Panda’s I just can’t anymore. What in the hell is the world coming to?! Apparently we have now ventured into the era of the Clown. Wasn’t the first contouring makeup tutorial enough for you? Weren’t the hoards of photos and how-to articles enough to satiate your appetites? Apparently not, because now all I see are articles about clown contouring. And everyone and their momma’s are lapping it up. So I simply must ask, when will the madness end?
